This pet car safety belt comes in a pack of two originally $17 on sale for $8. It is made of high-quality nylon material that they claim won't fray or tear. It is said to support dogs large or smalls its length is adjustable from 17.5 inches to 32 inches. This allows your pet to sit, stand and move around freely in your vehicle. You do not want to use this with a collar as it can be a choking hazard you must use this with a harness for it to be safe and secure. This safety belt has a 1-inch seatbelt tab compatible with most cars and swivel clasps that hook to your dog's harness.
How Did It Work?
I liked the idea of this product and I wanted it to work out for my dog. I hate when people stop fast while we are driving or any situation where I have to hit the brakes and she slides. Her safety always comes first. We tried this safety belt out twice and both times she got her leg tangled so I decided to stop using it. Now my dog likes to look out the windows and is a large dog at 90lbs. So I had to set it at the longest length which allowed her to sit. I believe this would be a good product for dogs 50lbs and under as the length will be more than enough for them preventing tangle hopefully. I'd find a different product for large dogs as it doesn't give them any room to move which is what caused my dog to be tangled.
